HR Mission Statement

Mission 

The Human Resources Department will serve as a strategic partner with Wharton County Junior College’s administration, faculty, and staff in support of the mission of the College.  The Human Resources Department takes a leadership role in providing services that support the College by promoting the concept that our employees are our most valuable resource and will be treated as such.

The Human Resources Department’s mission is to provide a full range of centralized, comprehensive human resource management services for employees of the College and to assist College partners in attracting and retaining qualified employees.  The Human Resources Department staff works with college administrators and staff to ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws pertaining to personnel and equal employment opportunities.
