| Hi I'm
Michelle Mayer, a proud graduate of Wharton County Junior
College. I was a single mother in my mid 30s when a corporate
merger cost me my job. I was scared, but I decided to go back to
school to become a physical therapist assistant. I'm so glad I
did! My instructors were extremely professional, teaching me
anatomy, therapy, rehabilitation and so much more. What I
remember most about them is their love and compassion,
particularly when I faced personal challenges like caring for
sick family members. Their support and encouragement enabled me
to fulfill my dream - and my calling - to be a health care
professional. Today I have the privilege of caring for elderly
patients, helping them live better lives and, at the same time,
forming deep bonds with them and their families. My future is
bright, thanks to Wharton County Junior College. |
