Agriculture Coordinator/Instructor & Rodeo Coach
Mr. Amestoy has been an Agriculture instructor at Wharton County Junior College since 1997. He earned his B.S. degree in Agricultural Business from Tarleton State University in 1989. His M.S. degree in General Agriculture is from Sam Houston State University. Since he began teaching at Wharton County Junior College, he has taught many different agriculture courses; some of which include Animal Science, Horticulture, Food Science, Agronomy, and Agriculture Construction. In conjunction with his teaching load, he is also the Head Rodeo Coach at Wharton County Junior College.
