The Manufacturing Technology A.A.S. program is designed to equip you with a comprehensive understanding of the installation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, production lines, and control systems. You can only pursue one specialty track and may only obtain one A.A.S. degree in Manufacturing Technology. Check out the three specialty tracks you can choose from:

The Manufacturing Technology Industrial Maintenance and Mechanical Technician Certificates are designed to give you a technical-level specialized career track option in industrial or mechanical maintenance. The programs prepare you to apply basic engineering technology principles, skills in mechatronics, and more to maintain equipment in industries like manufacturing, power generation, and petrochemical. Classes offered in the Certificate programs may be applied toward the A.A.S. degree in Manufacturing Technology.

Meet the Faculty

Gerald Kinder

Program Director and Instructor
Mr. Kinder graduated from Texas State Technical College in 2010 with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. With 11 years of experience in aircraft parts manufacturing and metal fabrication, he joined WCJC as an instructor in August 2015.
