Program Information

  • Prepare for work in the nuclear power generation industry that will grow with retirement of Nuclear Powerbaby boomers, planned expansion of South Texas Nuclear Project and selection of Victoria area by Exelon Nuclear to submit federal license application to construct and operate a new nuclear power plant 

  • 2-year Associate of Applied Science degree

  • 3 Specialties: Non-Licensed Operator, Electrical Technician, and Instrumentation & Controls Technician

  • Enhanced Skills Certificate (AAS Process Technology Degree Required)

  • Median annual earnings of power plant operators: $52,530 (Source: www.bls.gov)
