Welcome to Wharton County Junior College's SACS Website. Visitors to this site will find descriptive evidence of our preparation for reaffirmation of accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges,  in 2008.

WCJC is one of the first institutions to go through the reaccredidation process guided by the new SACS COC "Principles of Accreditation: Foundations for Quality Enhancement."

This site is a "living" document in that it is continually updated to keep the reader informed of the progress made in the reaccreditation process.
