The college has
an established policy for hearing student grievances and
complaints. Students who believe they have legitimate
complaints about (1) discrimination or harassment based on
sex, race, age, national origin, religion, veteran status,
or handicap; (2) nonacademic decisions, rules, or
regulations; (c) actions, rules or regulations not defined
as pertaining to disciplinary measures or decisions; (3)
management or conduct of programs; (4) allegations of
misleading advertisement or promotion of programs; or (5)
other actions of college employees should contact the Office
of the Dean of Student Services (979)532-6385 to file the
grievance and obtain a copy of College Regulation 591.
Also, College
Regulation 663, Appeal of Academic Decisions, provides the
mechanism and procedures for students who wish to appeal an
action or decision that affects their academic status such
as assignment of course grades. The Office of the Dean of
Student Services should be contacted for a copy of this
regulation.
