How do I join the Fitness Center?
The first step in joining the Fitness Center is to go to the
cashier's window in the college’s Administration Building to
pay the membership fee. During the fall semester, the
cashier's window is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to
4:00 pm. Next, take your receipt to the Fitness Center and
a staff member will assist you with completing the
appropriate forms. A photo identification card for new
members will be provided by the Fitness Center staff and
placed on file. Persons who cannot visit the cashier's
window during regular business hours may pay with a check or
money order at the Fitness Center.
What does it cost to join the
Fitness Center?
Membership in the
Fitness Center is available to individuals 18 years of age
and older. Students enrolled in dual credit courses at WCJC
also have the option of joining the Fitness Center.
WCJC students enrolled in at least 12 credit hours pay $50
per semester for the fall and spring semesters. For the
summer semester, students may contact the Fitness Center for
the summer session rates.
Full-time employees may use the Fitness Center free of
charge. The "family rate" for full-time employees is $100
per family per semester, or $50 per individual family member
per semester.
Membership is open to the public for a
fee of $100 per person per semester, or $200 per family per
semester (persons living in one household). The monthly
individual membership fee is $30 per four-week period.
What is the procedure for
using the Fitness Center?

Fitness Center, a member will sign in and a staff member
will assist with the proper procedures for using the weight
room equipment. Progress charts are available for individual
use, and members are asked to return their progress charts
to a staff member upon completion of a workout. Members are
asked to sign out when leaving the facility. Members are
expected to use a towel, as needed, when using the weight
room equipment.
