The focus of the WCJC Grants & Resource Development office is to provide technical assistance to support research, scholarly activities, and creative engagement of administrators, faculty, and staff in seeking funding to meet College goals. Most automatic “formula grants” from state or federal sources are handled by the individual program administrators. Faculty, staff, and administrators who wish to develop and submit applications in response to open, competitive requests for proposals are required to process their grant proposals through the office of Grants & Resource Development.

The Resource Development office can assist grant seekers to identify potential sources of external funding, clarify the requirements of funding announcements, obtain copies of past successful applications that could serve as models for a new application, assist with drafting the application, format and copy-edit the application, and submit the application once it has been approved by the President of WCJC.
