As Director of Grants & Resource Development, Dr.Danson Jones is responsible for coordinating the development of all applications that are to be submitted in open, competitive grant cycles. He assists with development of needs statements and evaluation plans for grant applications. He also directs the Institutional Effectiveness Office at WCJC.

As a grants coordinator, Dr.Bruce Kieler reports to Dr.Danson Jones. He researches grant opportunities and works collaboratively with faculty, administrators, and staff to draft grant applications and proposals for new projects. He provides technical assistance and helps develop supporting budgets and budget justifications. He finalizes all required documents and submits them to the WCJC President’s Office for review prior to submission of the documents to the funding source. Dr.Kieler also assists with drafting and copyediting periodic reports and evaluations that are required for most grant-funded projects.
