Part-Time Faculty Positions 

Wharton County Junior College offers part-time teaching positions in academic, vocational, developmental, workforce, and continuing education areas. The educational requirements for the various faculty positions vary according to subject but all academic faculty must possess a minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline or a master’s degree in the teaching discipline. Educational requirements and all required documentation are listed on the posting notice. Documentation, listed on the posting notice, must be submitted with the application before the application packet will be accepted for processing. The documentation required for faculty is listed below:

  • Resume (Note: If a certificate is also required on the Job Posting Vacancy a copy of the certificate must be submitted with the application.)

  • Applicant Pre-Employment Authorization for Criminal Background Check
  • Copy of transcript from an accredited institution
