Description:

Instructor shall be responsible for formal classroom instruction of the student in the theory, demonstration and supervision of professional nursing skills and supervision of nursing care administered by the student during clinical experiences. This position is a 9 month contract.

Requirements :

1. Master’s Degree in Nursing, Master’s Degree in Nursing in Progress, or Master’s Degree in field other than nursing and Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program with at least six (6) semester hours of graduate content in nursing appropriate to teaching responsibilities. Copy of transcript(s) must accompany application.
2. Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Texas. Copy of license must accompany application.
3. Qualified through academic preparation and current clinical experience to teach curriculum assignments
4. Criminal background check required
