  1. Submit your application online at Applytexas.orgThe on-line application is quick and easy!  After clicking on Applytexas.org, follow these steps to get started. Please allow 48 hrs for processing an on-line application. 

    1) Click here to ENTER APPLYTEXAS

    2) If you do not already have an ApplyTexas account, please create one now

    3) fill out the information and click on “Save Profile"

    4) continue to fill out the application according to the on-screen directions.

    Paper applications are available in the Admissions office on every campus.  You can also print a paper form at Application for Admission Form.

     
  2. A high school transcript and a transcript from each college attended if enrolling by transfer. Transcript(s) must be mailed directly from the high school and college(s) to Wharton County Junior College.
  3. Scores on the Texas Higher Education (THEA) test or an approved substitute*.  See THEA Section in catalog.   For more information on THEA, contact TESTING 979-532-4560.
  4. Test scores for other standardized tests such as ACT and SAT.
