Beware of Fraudulent GED Credentials
The National GED Testing Service wants students to be aware of fraudulent websites claiming to offer GED credentials.
Dr. sylvia Cobos Lieshoff, National Center for Family Literacy states, "There are dozens - even hundreds - of websites offerED rcredentials, and other degrees. What they don't tell you (the student) is their 'accredited degree' is virtually worthless. These sites are looking to make a quick buck at your expense - and they're charging anywhere from $200 to $1,200 to do it. Don't fall into their trap. Learn more about how to spot a scam, and where to earn a real GED credential." For more information, visit http://gedcbt.org/gedts/fraud/

as possible. The documentation must be completed by an attending physician or advocate, signed by the student/guardian(s) and returned
to the WCJC Student Services Testing Department. Providing all necessary documentation is completed correctly, the testing department will sign and send
to Austin for processing. This can be a lengthy procedure and can take
up to 6 months. If the accommodations are approved then the WCJC
Student Services Testing Department will receive notification of what
accommodations are to be provided to the examinee (student.) If the
accommodations are denied, the examinee (student) has the right to appeal the
decision. To appeal the rejection the examinee (student) must provide additional
proof of the handicap or circumstance that is enabling him or her from testing.
The additional documentation will travel once again through the approval process
for acceptance or denial. For more information or to obtain the accommodations
