Mr. Jones received his AAS in Welding Engineering Technology at John S. Donaldson Technical Institute in Trinidad, WI after five years of study. A B.S. in Vocational Education and a Masters of Education in Mid-Management in Vocational and Industrial Technology at Prairie View A&M. He has a strong background in pipe welding, marine welding, power plants, and has worked on the Alaskan Pipe Line as a welding instructor and inspector. He also worked on the South Texas Project in Bay City, Texas as a welding engineering technician. He served in the United States Army as a Sergeant in charge of all welding activities at various locations during the Vietnam War. He has worked as a High School Teacher producing a number of Texas State VICA state winners and national contenders in welding. He has been a faculty member at WCJC since 2007.
