The Radiologic Technology Department has a limited enrollment.  Students compete for one of the 18 available positions.  Admission is based on a point system.  Points are awarded for completion of the core curriculum (listed below), ACT score (minimum of 18 composite), evaluation from observation, previous degrees, and GPA.  Although it is not required that an applicant complete all 6 core courses, preference is given to those who have done so.

Core Courses:

Students must receive a C or better in the courses listed above to satisfy graduation requirements for the Radiology Program.

* Courses must be taken within five years of admission to the program.

Those interested in applying should download and complete the following application and submit it to the Radiologic Technology Department by May 31st (or business day closest to this date).

To complete the observation hours required for the application, contact your local hospital radiology department, explain that you are a perspective radiology student for WCJC, and ask for the opportunity to complete 16 hours of observation at that facility.  Be sure to take the observation forms (in application packet) with you.  The observation days must be during the week and include the morning hours (be in department by 8:00 a.m.)
