▪ Prepare for work in the power generation industry that will grow with retirement of baby boomers, planned expansion of South Texas Nuclear Project and selection of Victoria area by Exelon Nuclear to submit federal license application to construct and operate a new nuclear power plant

▪ Developing 2-year program to earn Associate of Applied Science degree

▪ First semester courses include Introduction to Power Technology, English, math, computer science, and safety, health & environment

▪ Median annual earnings of power plant operators: $52,530 (Source: www.bls.gov)
