| Mr. Carey received BS (1970) and MS (1972) degrees in chemistry from the University of North Texas (Denton). A native of Dallas, Texas, he has 26 years of corporate experience with such companies as Dow Chemical, Amana Appliances, and Goldschmidt Chemical in various technical management positions. In 1999, he became a full time college chemistry instructor and taught at ITT Technical Institute, UHD, and Houston Community College prior to joining the full-time faculty of WCJC in 2001. In addition to teaching chemistry classes, he enjoys life with his wife, Nancy, in their Richmond home. |
