After college, Ben Brink's time was divided between grad school and manual labor. His favorite job during this period was at Ingalls Shipyard. Following five years of part-time teaching, Ben married. Since then, his work life has been mainly the two-year college.
A year in the N.Y.C. school system gave him a perspective of the modern high
school, but WCJC has provided him with the best co-workers and setting he's seen. His wife,
Esther has been his greatest helper. Esther is a Phi Theta Kappa graduate of a two-year college. Ben is proud of his daughter Stephanie, a senior at East
Tennessee State University. His current interests come from the curriculum and past research.
Non-academic pursuits include hunting and fishing. |
