MATH DEPARTMENT

"Mathematics is an indispensable tool for many disciplines in the modern technical world.  The math department provides courses to prepare WCJC students on several levels in math theories as applied to the sciences or practical applications in many professions.  Students can select from a variety of courses offered to meet their needs which include developmental, freshman, and sophomore college-level classes through calculus that provide a strong fundamental preparation for transfer to a university or entry into any of several potential professions.  Math students are strongly encouraged to seek the aid of WCJC counselors in the selection of the proper entry-level course for their level of preparation."
