| Mr. Clayton has over 24 years experience in the Public Safety sector, including Law Enforcement, the Volunteer Fire service and Emergency Medical Services. David holds a Master Peace Officer certificate with the State of Texas, an EMT-B with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Services, and received an A.A.S. in Law Enforcement in 2005 from Wharton County Junior College. David currently remains commissioned with a law enforcement agency, and works as an EMT-B with emergency medical services. David became a part time instructor in the Police Academy in 1992 and came to WCJC as the Program Director of the Police Academy in 2005. David became the Director of Public Safety Training in 2006 and also assumed the role of the Division Chair of the Vocational Sciences Division of WCJC in 2009.
