At Wharton County Junior College there are two degree plans for those with an interest in Criminal Justice. The Associate of Arts degree and its required courses are designed for those who will be going on the university to complete a Bachelor’s degree and perhaps graduate work. Probation officers and federal law enforcement officers are required to have a four-year degree. Those wishing to teach at the college level must have a graduate degree and must have completed 18 hours in the appropriate disciplinary area.

The AA degree plan can be found at http://www.wcjc.edu/catalogs_n/study_criminal_justice.asp
