Dr.
Vardy has taught college level classes for over 25 years for a
variety of colleges and universities including wide experience
in Asia and Europe. His teaching experience also includes
teaching to students of numerous cultures and backgrounds.
Currently, he teaches political science and government courses,
but he has over 15 years teaching business/accounting and
financial management courses to both undergraduate and graduate
students. Additionally, he spent over 25 years working for an
information gathering instrumentality of the federal government
and in that capacity traveled extensively to virtually every
continent and a good portion of the world’s countries.
Dr. Vardy
received his Ph. D. from the University of Houston. Dissertation
entitled: Presidential Power during the Cold War - An
analysis of Executive Agreements in the conduct of Foreign
Policy. |

Dr. Elizabeth
(Liz) Rexford is an Instructor of Government at Wharton County
Junior college. She earned her B.A. degree at Franklin and
Marshall College. Her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees are from the
University of Maryland.
In addition, Dr. Rexford is a sponsor of the WCJC's Phi Theta
Kappa, the international honor society for community and junior
colleges. |

Dr.
Ituah has been a full-time Political Science instructor at
Wharton County Junior College since 1999 and an Adjunct
Political Science instructor at HCC Southwest since 1991. He has
an extensive corporate background with strong computer skills,
having worked at various levels within the major oil company,
BP-Amoco as a Computer Technologist, a Team Leader, as
well as Seismic Database Manager for about twenty years.
His teaching
philosophy is to help students understand and appreciate the
relationships between everyday events in our lives and policy
making in the institutions of our governments.

A
native-Texan, Ms. McLane has taught political science, criminal
justice and marketing courses during her career, which began
when she was employed as a teaching assistant at the University
of Texas, Austin, in 1977. Although worked full-time in
government and private sector positions for much of her career,
she always found time to teach at the collegiate level.
She started
teaching for WCJC full-time in 1999. Additionally, Ms. McLane
has served as a city commissioner, and worked on various
political campaigns. She enjoys new technology and earned a
M.L.S. to improve her research and technical skills in the
classroom. McLane earned her WebCT certified trainer status in 2005.

Dr. Reed has taught, and conducted research projects, at two large universities. He has also been an editor and writer for several publications related to the U.S. Congress and international relations.
Dr. Reed received his Ph.D. from Rockefeller College of Public Affairs in Albany, New York.
