Mrs. Lurker has industry experience in multiple disciplines including piping design, civil design and structural design. She is proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation and Inventor software. She began her teaching career at Wharton County Junior College in 2001. She currently teaches Technical Drafting, Basic Computer-Aided Drafting, Intermediate Computer-Aided Drafting, Machine Design, Pipe Drafting and Solid Modeling/Design at the Wharton campus.

Mr. Stupka began his teaching career with a two-year fellowship at Sam Houston State University and has taught for Wharton County Junior College for more than 37 years. His industry experience includes four years in architectural design and one-year in civil design. In the past 40 years he has also worked as a consultant in various capacities in the Geophysical industry as a drafter/cad operator/programmer/database manager. He is fluent in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Inventor, and GeoSoft Montaj drawing programs, C++ and Delphi programming languages and Nexus, Microsoft Access and Oracle database programs. Mr. Stupka currently teaches Specialized Basic Computer Aided Drafting-MicroStation, Electrical Drafting, Advanced Computer-Aided Drafting, Computer Aided Drafting Programming (AutoLISP) and Solid Modeling/Design.

Mrs. Ruiz industry experience includes civil design, architectural design and structural design. She is proficient in AutoCAD and MicroStation. Her teaching career began at Wharton County Junior College in the Fall of 2007. Mrs. Ruiz currently teaches Technical Drafting, Basic Computer-Aided Drafting, Civil/Structural Drafting, Architectural Drafting and Pipe Drafting at both the Fort Bend Technical Center and Wharton campuses.

Mr. Arriaga has 7 years of industry experience in the disciplines of electrical and civil design. He is proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Inventor, Civil 3D drawing programs, ArcView, and ArcMap GIS. He began his teaching career at Wharton County Junior College in 2010. He teaches Architectural Drafting at the Fort Bend Tech Center in Richmond, and is also employed as an Electrical designer at a (M)echanical (E)lectrical and (P)lumbing Firm.

Mrs. Jiang has a strong background in math & statistics, engineering, IT & computer science. Her industry experience includes Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Application/Programmer Analyst, Application Manager, and Research & Teaching Assistant. She is proficient in CNC programming, VB, C/C++, Fortran, Perl, Java, LISP, Shell, SQL, ASP, HTML, Cold Fusion, and PHP computer languages, AutoCAD, Pro-E, Pro-NC, MiniTAB, CICS, AutoTAS, and FEA engineering software and also, Oracle, Visual Basic, SQL server, .NET, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Words, Flash, Photoshop, FrontPage, DreamWeaver, SAS, SPSS, software packages. Mrs. Jiang began teaching for Wharton County Junior College in the Spring of 2010. She has taught Basic Computer-Aided Drafting and Civil/Structural Drafting and Machine Design at the Fort Bend Technical Center.
