theory in the
psychology of learning, cognition and motivation, 2) factors
that impact learning, and 3)
application of learning strategies. Theoretical models of
strategic learning,
cognition and motivation serve as the conceptual basis for
the introduction of
college-level student academic strategies. This course is
recommended for any student
who would like to develop effective learning skills and
strategies.

student populations; provides students with support from
college and school faculty,
preferably in small cohort groups, for the purpose of
introduction to and analysis
of the culture of schooling and classrooms. Prerequisites:

writing requirements met, and must pass a criminal history
check.
