What is Plagiarism?

• Copying words or ideas from someone else without citing the source.
  
  
• Failing to put quotation marks around a quote.
  
  
• Getting someone else to write your paper.
  
  
• Buying a paper and turning it in as your own.
  
  
• Copying so many words or ideas from a source that it makes up the majority of your work, whether you give credit or not.
