When the soil testing laboratory was moved to the LaDieu Technology Center, the former soil testing laboratory was designated the Distance Education Center. In response of this building’s new function, a thorough renovation too include new flooring, fresh paint throughout, and a new heating and air conditioning system. This renovation was completed in the summer of 1997. The renovation provides office space, video storage, a production room for copies of video, and support services for Distance Learning.
