The building was constructed in 1949 and has served numerous campus programs throughout this period. Today, as a transitional building, it supports both administrative and course study programs.

The building maintains structural soundness with the exception of minor movement exhibited in the west wing. A proper maintenance schedule coupled with code compliance updates, will permit this structure to maintain a longer serviceable life.

The long term planning activities of the campus will affect the long term use of this facility. However, building usage is scheduled to remain unchanged for the next 3 - 5 year period.

The consolidation of all administrative functions and student services is projected as the long term use of this facility due to its prominent position as the Campus’s “Main Center”.

In 1993, a new roof and elevator were added to this facility. Several interior renovations were undertaken. Additional interior renovations, ADA toilet room updates, and electrical system upgrades have been targeted for the future.
