Introduction

Wharton County Junior College is honored to join several institutions in the Gulf Coast area who are working together to address college completion.  WCJC along with nine other institutions are addressing this issue as part of the Houston Guided Pathways to Success (Houston GPS) consortium, along with Complete College America (CCA).  Both groups are dedicated helping students to complete their degrees and to do so in a shorter period of time. 

Wharton County Junior College has taken steps to implement Pathways initiatives that will direct students towards completion through enhanced advising services, designated and structured program pathways,  and seamless transfer initiatives, all of which are designed to offer support for completion, degree attainment, and saving students time and money.
