Cost of Attendance

Tuition and fees for the 2022-2023 academic year can be found on the WCJC website and in the college catalog.

Students can obtain an estimate of their total cost of attendance and potential aid amount using the Net Price Calculator.  The estimate obtained from this calculator is not final or binding on the Federal Secretary of Education, WCJC, or the State of Texas.

Financial aid eligibility is determined for only one year at a time.  Applications for financial aid should be completed accurately and received in the Financial Aid Office along with any additional required forms by the priority deadline. If you do not complete and submit all of your financial aid documentation by the priority date you may have to pay your tuition, fees, and books on an out-of-pocket basis and get reimbursed when your financial aid documentation is complete and you have been awarded.

WCJC has an installment plan for students who wish to hold their classes while they complete their financial aid documentation.

All approvals are based on the assumption that Congress will appropriate funds for the various programs. Consequently, approved aid terminates if money is not allocated to Wharton County Junior College. Financial aid students can receive aid only for the classes that are required for their degree plan at Wharton County Junior College.
