The Local ACT is only used for admission to WCJC Allied Health Programs. Local ACT test scores can not be used to satisfy Texas Success Initiative (TSI) requirements for college readiness. There is a 60-day waiting period for retesting purposes. Students must complete an application for admission through Apply Texas prior to testing. In addition, students must pay at the Business Office and then take the receipt to the Testing Center on the day of testing. Students should refer to the testing schedule  and call the Testing Center to schedule their test. Students are strongly encouraged to check with the Allied Health Program staff prior to testing with the Local ACT to ensure they are taking the correct test.

The Local ACT is made up of 4 sections: English, Math, Reading, and Science. The test takes approximately 3 hours.

The Local ACT is designed for students who are attempting to gain admission to a  specific WCJC Allied Health program. Local ACT scores will not be released to other institutions.

Test fee: $15.00.
