WHARTON, TEXAS — Fourteen students have graduated from the Wharton County Junior College Radiologic Technology program. A ceremony was held on Aug. 15 at the Wharton campus.

Graduates included:

  • Fort Bend County — Alex Morales Barrientos of Richmond, Kylie Daugherty of Missouri City and Cade O’Brien of Richmond
  • Harris County — Nayeli Reyes of Houston
  • Jackson County — Jacklyn Akin of Francitas
  • Matagorda County — Jessica Burnaman of Bay City, Raul Ivan Carrillo of Palacios, Hailey Irizarry of Blessing and Stephanie May of Bay City
  • Wharton County — Emily Folmar of Wharton, Ana Gonzalez Perez of Boling and Sicily Valdez of Danevang
  • Victoria County — Claudia Anguiano of Victoria and Emily Quinn of Victoria

The WCJC Radiologic Technology Program prepares students for entry-level radiologic technologist positions. Course curriculum is a balance of general educational and technical courses as well as supervised clinical work at local hospitals.
