WHARTON, TEXAS — Eleven students have graduated from the Wharton County Junior College Radiologic Technology program. A ceremony was held on Aug. 7 at the Wharton campus.
“This milestone represents the culmination of years of academic preparation, clinical education, dedication and commitment to excellence in patient care,” said Radiologic Technology Program Director Sharla Walker. “The program extends its sincere congratulations to each graduate and recognizes the faculty and clinical partners who have supported their journey.”

WCJC’s Radiologic Technology program offers a two-year Associate of Applied Science Degree that teaches students how to prepare patients for exams, explain X-ray procedures and prepare patients for the radiologist. hands-on experience related to oral health. Classes are held on the Wharton campus.
