AEL Distance Learning is an online-based program that lets you continue your learning
outside the classroom. Our AEL Distance Learning program is user-friendly and can
help you develop an individualized study plan. All distance learning hours count toward
the hours needed for the ESL and HSE/GED progress testing. Prepare for the HSE/GED
test or learn English faster with distance learning.

Guidelines for AEL Distance Learning
To be eligible for distance learning, you must
- Be enrolled in an AEL (ESL or HSE/GED) class with consistent attendance.
- Have basic computer skills and internet access.
- Be self-motivated, organized, and possess strong study skills.
- Complete distance learning work outside of class hours for a minimum of 2 hours weekly.
